When organizations "sing from the same songbook," as I like to say, it creates a new level of cohesion. It moves people to action, changes hearts and minds, and draws others into your cause.

And it starts from the inside.

Although I had been leading teams for years, it wasn’t until 2016 that I truly recognized just how powerful co-creation could be. That year, I was tapped to join a small, global team at United Way Worldwide tasked with envisioning a major transformation for the organization.
​
I came in determined to drive big change, and I wanted it fast. But I quickly learned that change, especially on a large scale with a beloved brand, requires thoughtful buy-in, deep discussion, and a lot of patience.
​
Over time, that team developed the vocabulary and framing that aligned us around a clear vision for the future. Being part of that process showed me what was possible. ​
After 18 years as a nonprofit executive leading change from within, I launched my consulting firm in 2022 and quickly became captivated by the link between strategy, messaging, and the shared understanding that drives organizational success.

What started as messaging work grew into something deeper. In workshop after workshop, I watched teams gain clarity, not just on what to say, but on how to lead together.

Through those conversations, they weren’t just finding the right words: They were doing the deep work of transformation.
